The sailing club runs a Sailing School which is RYA approved and staffed by members who volunteer their time to train other members in all aspects of sailing.
The largest group using the sailing school are the cadets who have two training weekends in the spring and a cadet week of training and other activities in the summer holidays.
For the youngsters progressing into racing we have a Volvo Squad where invited cadets are coached in racing techniques. The squad meets four times a year.
Non members can take advantage of our taster sessions where an instructor will take you out for an hour or so to see if you enjoy the experience of sailing and wish to take it further. Our newest area is Training for Adult members. We are offering familiarisation courses to help you get to know the clubs waters, racing starts and marks, and some of the things to watch out for.
