BSC Sailing School - RYA assessment, 20th April

The Club Sailing School had its annual ‘Recognised Training Establishment ‘assessment today – amongst the Cadet Training and club racing activities.

I am delighted to report we passed, and our assessor was greatly impressed by the sight of over ninety cadets developing their sailing skills!
 
I have to thank all those involved in organising the sailing school and the cadet training weekend along with everyone volunteering to help over the weekend for all the hard work they put in to make these things happen – in particular Jan Taylor, Alan Coday and Jan Swanwick who keep all the sailing school ducks in a straight row.

I also have to thank Rob Dean, Joe Leary, Alan Sargeant and Ian Stunt who look after the safety boats and Mike Beales,Robin Boustred and Jeff West who have maintained the school dinghies.
