RYA recognition retained

Our club Training School was reassessed this week by the RYA and its status as a Recognised Training Establishment was confirmed for another year.

The assessor was complimentary on the level of support provided by members, particularly parents of cadets, without whose help many of our training events would not be possible and commented that our equipment was some of the best he had seen provided by a club. He also gave us some ideas from other schools which could be useful at the BSC

So congratulations everyone who volunteers to take part in the cadet weekends and week, and I offer my thanks to all who look after the administration, organizing and maintenance of equipment for the Training School.
